For the past week, our offices have been overrun with models and photographers, preparing for the first of our three shows (Max Azria is Sunday, Herve Leger is Tues). I actually saw a model yesterday struggling to eat a piece of lettuce from a very small salad, which she then threw away right after I walked by her. It's a tough life and the girls deserve a lot of respect for bringing movement to the artistry of the fabric and cut. They're athletes.
I was talking to a guy who's younger cousin is being scouted right now, at the age of 13. He brought her around to the top agencies & she just signed with Ford. I hope she can keep a good head about the industry because it definitely fucks with your self-confidence.
